Kamala Harris and Joe Biden appeared in lock-step at their first official joint rally on Monday since the Vice President replaced her boss at the top of the Democratic ticket.
There were no signs of tension between them as the President gave an energetic address to the labor union crowd in Pennsylvania.
“Are you ready to make Donald Trump a loser again?” he asked, prompting cheers. “We’ll always walk alongside you. Union workers built this economy – that’s not hyperbole that’s just a fact.”
Meanwhile, the Harris campaign accused Donald Trump of “dodging labor on Labor Day” after the Republican’s campaign was limited to a single virtual event.
In a statement posted to Truth Social the former president boasted about his own achievements for workers during his time in office and claimed all Americans were “suffering” under the current administration.
Harris appeared in person in both Michigan and Pennsylvania on Monday, and deployed several surrogates – including her running mate Tim Walz and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff – across battleground states on her behalf.
In Pennsylvania, Harris and Biden were joined by local and national union leaders as well as Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz delivered a pithy comeback after accusing Republicans of labelling him as “in the pocket of organized labor”.
“That’s a damn lie,” the Democratic VP pick told a roaring crowd at Laborfest in Milwaukee, during the Harris-Walz Labor Day blitz.
“I am the pocket,” Walz, the former teacher and National Education Association union member, added.
He continued: “And I told them, if you want to attack me for standing up for collective bargaining, for fair wages, for safe working conditions, for health care and retirement – you roll the damn dice. I’ll take my chances on that.”

Donald Trump is set to attend a town hall chaired by Fox News star anchor Sean Hannity in Pennsylvania tomorrow.
The former president is set to take the New Holland Area stage at approximately 5.30pm ET on Wednesday, Trump posted on X late last night.
Hannity, who is moderating the event and has been a staunch supporter of Trump, will focus on key areas of the Republican presidential nominee’s policy and his upcoming debate with his democratic rival Kamala Harris, according to a Fox News statement.
The pair’s last town hall together took place in Iowa in December, which saw Trump tease a day-one dictatorship along with declaring he wanted to “drill, drill, drill”.
The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon mocked the perceived Hannity-Trump love affair.
“We haven’t seen two old people that in love since ‘The Golden Bachelor’ finale,” he said on his show.

While his polling with women begins to sink, Donald Trump praised his supporters’s husbands for “allowing” their wives to attend his campaign rallies without them.
“Somebody said, ‘Women don’t like Donald Trump,’” he said from a rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on August 30. “I said, ‘I think that’s wrong. I think they love me.’ I love them.”

The Harris campaign has responded to Donald Trump’s recent, and brazen claim that he had “every right” to interfere with the 2020 presidential election.
“Everything Donald Trump has promised on the campaign trail – from ‘terminating’ the Constitution, to imprisoning his political opponents and promising to rule as a dictator on ‘day one’ – makes it clear that he believes he is above the law,” Harris-Walz 2024 Spokesperson Sarafina Chitika said.
“Now, Trump is claiming he had ‘every right’ to interfere in the 2020 election. He did not.
“While Donald Trump is pushing his false history about the past, the American people are ready for a new way forward. They know Vice President Harris is the tough-as-nails prosecutor we need to turn the page on chaos, fear, and division, and uphold the rule of law.”
Trump made the remarks on Sunday during an interview with Fox News, despite facing a slew of legal challenges, including a fresh indictment from Special Counsel Jack Smith over the former president’s election subversion case.
Last night in an interview with Fox News’ Mark Levin, Donald Trump admitted to interfering with the 2020 presidential election and claimed he had “every right” to do it.
“Whoever heard you get indicted for interfering with a presidential election where you have every right to do it, you get indicted and your poll numbers go up,” the former president said.
