Donald Trump declared that he would need Jesus Christ as a “vote counter” to win California during a sit-down interview with Dr Phil in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
In the hour-long discussion, the former president suggested that “God’s hand” was involved in saving him during the attempt on his life last month so that he could save America – and the world.
Trump once again pushed that he had won the 2020 election and baselessly claimed mail-in voter ballots would result in “massive fraud.”
Ahead of the interview, the former president said that he had reached an agreement with Democratic rival Kamala Harris over the rules for their first debate on September 10.
Special Counsel Jack Smith unveiled a fresh indictment against Trump for his alleged illegal attempts to reverse his 2020 election loss.
“By popular demand,” Trump brought back a suite of 50 trading cards, each featuring images of him striking poses, dancing, and one wearing a knock-off Iron Man suit adorned with a Bitcoin logo.
Meanwhile, Arlington National Cemetery officials say that Donald Trump’s campaign staff verbally abused and pushed aside a cemetery official who objected to filming and photography at gravesites during a recent visit, NPR reports.
Donald Trump continued his sexist attacks against Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris — this time by sharing an outrageous post from one of his supporters.
In his latest offensive against the vice president, who is leading in the polls, Trump reposted on Tuesday a comment suggesting that she slept her way into power by dating former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown in the 1990s.

JD Vance blasted Kamala Harris, telling crowds the vice president could “go to hell” as he discussed her response to the deaths of 13 military servicemen in Afghanistan.
The Republican vice presidential nominee was asked about a recent altercation which allegedly occurred at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, between a cemetery staff member and a one of the Trump-Vance campaign team.
“Kamala Harris is so asleep at the wheel that she won’t even do an investigation into what happened and she wants to give Donald Trump because he showed up, she can go to hell!” he said.
There are, in fact, two ongoing investigations into the incident at Abbey Gate outside of Kabul Airport, where the servicemen were killed on August 26 2021.

Who will be our next man – or woman – in Washington? The question has been obsessing the Westminster “bubble”, and some interested parties further afield. Much speculation has centred on Lord (Peter) Mandelson, a man who is close to the current prime minister as well as the last two Labour premiers. His reputation for practising the dark arts goes before him, and he’d be an interesting choice, but some reports suggest that he fancies being the next chancellor of the University of Oxford. Also, he has competition…

It will be Harris’s first sit-down interview with a cable news outlet in months — and you better believe they’ll be watching at Mar-a-Lago.
Thursday’s interview presents the first post-convention challenge for the vice president, who already passed one hurdle with her selection of Walz as a running mate. That selection ended up wowing both progressives and centrists in her party; even anti-Trump conservatives who say they are voting for Harris this year seem to be on board.
But the interview is another ballgame.

Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz have landed in Georgia to kick off a two-day swing through the southeast of the key battleground state.
Democrats carried Georgia in 2020 but likely face an uphill battle to win the traditionally conservative state again in November.

Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a superseding indictment against the former president on Tuesday, keeping the same four criminal charges intact but trimming down some of the allegations in light of the Supreme Court’s immunity decision last month. In the wake of the new filing, Ty Cobb, an attorney in the Trump administration, discussed Trump’s chances of spending time behind bars on CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront.
“It’s a forceful document…You can’t read this and not understand the crimes that Trump actually committed,” Cobb said.
Kelly Rissman has the story.
