CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Department of Tourism Region III Director Richard Daenos lauded SM Supermalls for its role in helping preserve the Christmas tradition in the province.
Daenos said the annual Biggest Lantern of Hope event not only attracts thousands of tourists but also promotes City of San Fernando’s renowned lantern industry.
The Biggest Lantern of Hope, held on Saturday, November 30, turned the Pampanga Eye into a colorful spectacle.
The country’s largest Ferris wheel transformed into a giant lantern during the event.
The 10-minute pyromusical show was a tribute to capital city’s lantern-making tradition, SM Supermalls executives said.
Celebrity love team Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin said they were mazed by the colorful lights and stunning fireworks display during the event.
The tandem attended the event to promote their upcoming movie, My Future You.
Nakaka-inlove ang ganda,” they said.
