ABS-CBN Studios’ latest drama series, Saving Grace, premiered to widespread acclaim on November 28 (Thursday), quickly claiming the top spot as the #1 most-watched TV show on Prime Video Philippines. Beyond its local success, the series is also streaming on-demand in over 240 countries and territories via Prime Video, bringing Filipino storytelling to a global audience.
A Compelling Tale of Love and Sacrifice
In its first two episodes, viewers were introduced to Teacher Anna (portrayed by the acclaimed Julia Montes), a woman burdened by a troubled past but determined to find her purpose. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she encounters Grace (played by rising child star Zia Grace), a loving child enduring neglect and abuse at the hands of her mother, Sarah (Jennica Garcia), and stepfather, Chito (Christian Bables).
Anna’s instinct to protect Grace leads her to step in as a surrogate caregiver, even at the cost of putting her dreams on hold—a decision that spirals into misunderstanding and is mistaken for abduction.
As the search for Grace unfolds, Sarah turns to renowned public service host Miranda Valdez (played by the Megastar Sharon Cuneta) for help. The gripping narrative also features powerful performances by Janice de Belen as Anna’s mother Helena and Sam Milby as investigative journalist Julius, among other notable actors.
A Philippine Adaptation of a Global Hit
Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, Saving Grace is the Philippine adaptation of Nippon TV’s critically acclaimed Japanese drama Mother. This emotionally charged series has inspired remakes in countries including Turkey, South Korea, Ukraine, Thailand, and France, among others, showcasing its universal appeal.
Exclusive on Prime Video
Directed by FM Reyes and Dolly Dulu, Saving Grace is now available for on-demand streaming exclusively on Prime Video, with two new episodes dropping every Thursday.
