Rocco Nacino Meets K-Drama Star Song Joong-Ki


Rocco Nacino just met the OG “Descendants of The Sun” (DOTS) star, Song Joong-Ki!

Rocco Nacino was at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in South Korea, to represent Brillante Mendoza’s film “Motherland.” Rocco Nacino plays a key role in the award-winning director’s latest movie. During the first day of the event, Rocco Nacino was able to secure a selfie with Song Joong-Ki! “Met Big Boss himself #SongJoongKi and told him about #DOTSPH,” Rocco Nacino said as he flexed the photo on Instagram.

He then went on to share that he had a “5-minute chat” with Song Joong-Ki about GMA’s Philippine adaptation of “Descendants of the Sun” and the Philippines. “Pinakita ko rin ang posters namin ni [Dingdong Dantes, Jennylyn Mercado, and Jasmine Curtis], at natuwa siya,” he continued. “Invite ko daw siya sa pinas, paano ko naman gagawin yun haha.”

In case you missed it, Rocco Nacino played the role of Technical Sergeant Diego Ramos a.k.a. “Wolf” in the Philippine adaptation of DOTS. The series, which aired from February to December 2020 on GMA, was headlined by Dingdong Dantes (who played the equivalent role of Song Joong-Ki on DOTS) and Jennylyn Mercado.

Additionally, Rocco Nacino spoke highly of the South Korean actor. “I’d have to say, he is the most warm and accommodating actor of all the actors I talked with. Kind person,” he wrote.
