THE Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) confiscated 1,925.33 grams of substance believed to be shabu with a standard drug price of P13,092,244 and arrested 22 drug personalities during its 22 anti-illegal drug operations from November 25 to December 2, 2024.
Based on the data from BPPO, the police also apprehended 44 gamblers in 48 operations and seized P4,168 in gambling money.
In their campaign against loose firearms, the BPPO confiscated 14 firearms and arrested four individuals.
In the campaign against wanted persons, the police apprehended 15 individuals accused of various crimes and five most wanted persons.
According to BPPO Director Police Colonel Arnel Banzon, they have intensified their campaign against loose firearms and wanted persons in preparation for the midterm elections next year. (AYB)
