Cagayan de Oro City – The Liceo de Cagayan University College of Law proudly announces the opening and orientation of its Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP), held at the Cagayan de Oro City Jail-Male Dormitory. This significant event, led by Atty. Manuel I. Cabrera, Dean of the College of Law, aims to enhance understanding of the laws, rights, and privileges of Persons Deprived of Liberty.
The program is designed not only to provide legal education but also to foster personal growth and spiritual well-being. Participants will receive continuous lectures to deepen their knowledge of basic legal principles and rights. Additionally, the program emphasizes the importance of maintaining faith and optimism, encouraging individuals to uplift their spirits and find unwavering happiness through spiritual support.
The orientation and opening ceremony were conducted under the supervision of City Jail Warden JSUPT WILLIAM T MANENGYAO, DPA, together with the Assistant Warden, JSINSP RENE MICHAEL B GUANGCO and Chief WD SJO4 Aldous S Ybañez. This collaboration underscores a commitment to providing valuable legal insights and support to the incarcerated population.
