MANILA, Philippines— NBA stars LeBron James and Stephen Curry remained atop the ladder in terms of NBA jersey sales while the Los Angeles Lakers were the most popular team among Filipino basketball consumers after the first half of the ongoing season.
Based on sales from the league’s local stores in SM Megamall, Mall of Asia, and from its online merchant, James and the Lakers are leading the lists so far in tandem for the first time since the 2020-2021 season.

Curry, who has consistently placed among the top jersey sales in the past, went second behind James this time according to a report by NBA Philippines.
New Los Angeles star Luka Doncic and his former Dallas Mavericks jerseys were the third best selling merchandise while former teammate Kyrie Irving and Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler came fourth and fifth, respectively.

Charlotte rising star LaMelo Ball, meanwhile, also cracked the Top 10 jersey sellers at sixth, followed by Jayson Tatum (Boston), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee) and Ja Morant (Memphis) to round out the list.
For team sales, the Lakers were followed by the Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks.
The jersey sales from the first half of the season certainly translated to fan votes as well with most of the names on the list being included for the upcoming 74th NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco, California.
The league’s annual All-Star weekend begins on Saturday, February 15, with all the events happening at Chase Center.
