Kim Chiu proudly represented the Philippines in this year’s Seoul International Drama Awards (SDA), winning the Outstanding Asian Star Award for her exceptional performance as Juliana Lualhati in “Linlang.”

The actress looked stunning in a peach, ethereal gown by Francis Libiran as she graced the prestigious event held in Seoul on September 25. On Instagram, she shared snaps of her overall look and expressed her gratitude for reaching this milestone.
“I’m in absolute disbelief and beyond grateful to attend this kind of international award-giving body. It feels surreal, like a dream I haven’t quite woken up from,” she wrote.
Kim became emotional during her acceptance speech, dedicating the award to the late producer Deo Edrinal, who passed away in February.
“I want to dedicate this honor to the person who is no longer with us, my boss, my mentor, and a dear friend, Sir Deo. He’s the one who always pushed me to do my best. And he’s the one who always guides me to do the best that I can be,” she said.
Among the Outstanding Asian Star Award recipients were “Lovely Runner” stars Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon, Malaysian actress and model Siti Saleha, Singaporean actor Desmond Tan, Indonesian actress Ochi Rosdiana, and Thai actor Win Metawin.
