Two of the country’s fast-rising artists Kaori Oinuma and Jeremiah Lisbo return to send major ‘kilig’ vibes as they star in ABS-CBN Studios’ newest romantic-comedy series “Halfmates,” starting on October 18, 5:30 PM, on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel. In “Halfmates,” viewers will meet Dani (Kaori), a young and sunny former OFW, and James (Jeremiah), a quiet and structured guy whose lives get entangled after learning that they were scammed in a double sale of their dream house.
Living under the same roof will not be easy as they have clashing personalities. Find out how they will manage to help each other find a solution to their problem amidst their complicated relationship and if their setup leads to something more.“Halfmates” is under the production of RCD Narratives and is directed by Raz dela Torre, written by Chie Floresca and Akeem del Rosario, and joined by creative manager Arah Jell Badayos.The series marks Kaori and Jeremiah’s comeback project after their previous hit series “He’s Into Her,” “Fractured,” “The Four Bad Boys And Me,” and the movie “Love At First Stream.” Kaori joined “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso” before securing roles in “A Very Good Girl” and “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” while Jeremiah debuted in “Make It With You,” eventually working on “Unbreak My Heart” and “Pamilya Sagrado.”
