Trigger Warning: Mentions of Death, Mental Health
Fans praised GOT7’s Jackson Wang for sending a heartwarming message to co-member BamBam after his cryptic social media posts regarding his mental health went viral online.
On October 2, Jackson replied to BamBam’s tweet on X (formerly Twitter), in which the Thai rapper simply posted a YouTube video of Justin Bieber’s song “Changes.”
“People closely around us [e]specially the industry. The only thing they care about is living their life like you are living yours. Different intentions. It’s facts, it’s reality,” Jackson wrote. “Don’t take it negatively. Sometimes [you] just gotta be more selfish and get things right for yourself. It’s not always a bad thing.”
The Hong Kong rapper and singer also reminded BamBam to be at a place where he can get appreciation without forgetting himself, “Don’t forget who you are. Love you for who you are.”
In another tweet, Jackson expressed his warm support towards his co-GOT7 member.
Jackson replied, “One more thing, Bam. Your audience love[s] you, you’re [the] reason. Not anyone else, not the people, team, label, partners, or anyone else.”
Jackson has always been vocal about showing his love and appreciation towards BamBam. In an Instagram post made by the BamBam last January, Jackson was quick to express his admiration.
“My man. Always there for you,” he replied.
Recently, BamBam raised concerns among fans after sharing cryptic posts on X and Instagram, hinting at struggles with his mental health.
“People around me is the reason I’m dying,” the K-Pop star responded to a fan on X after being advised to surround himself with those who bring the best out of him and to take a break from the spotlight if he was exhausted.
BamBam is a Thai rapper and singer from the popular K-pop boy group GOT7. As a soloist, BamBam released “riBBon,” “Slow Mo,” “Sour and Sweet,” and more.
