Jackie Chan, best known for his intense stunts and action-packed fighting scenes, lost consciousness while filming for his new movie “Panda Plan.”
A behind-the-scenes clip shows the martial arts legend getting head-locked by his co-star for a movie scene, causing him to suddenly lose consciousness and slowly fall to the ground. His co-star released his grip and immediately grabbed his body to keep him upright while other crew members rushed to check on him.
After regaining consciousness following a short blackout, Chan appeared confused and asked the crew, “What happened?” He was surprised when informed that he had fainted and said he might have held his breath during the intense action scene.
This sparked concern among netizens, mostly his fans. However, the “Karate Kid” star reassured that he was fine and continued to film the scene after a short break.
“It’s not a big deal. I need to assure everyone else, otherwise, they would want me to use a stunt double. If I just sit there while they use a stunt double and they just film my close-ups after he’s done, I would feel very guilty,” he explained in an interview.
