A magnitude 4.9 earthquake was recorded off the shores of Abuyog, Leyte at 1:22 p.m. on Monday, 1 July according to Phivolcs.
Meanwhile, a magnitude 5.0 quake also jolted Balangiga, Eastern Samar at 1:53 p.m.
