More than just a pep talk, “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano got real with the debutants, sharing the industry’s ups and downs with stories from his own career that could resonate with the girls. “It was a talk about careers, the struggles of being in entertainment – in a business where a lot is expected out of you,” Gary Valenciano told ABS-CBN News.  “It was just good to be able to share certain life stories with them, stories I know can play a major role in their lives.”

He also noted that BINI members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena are “beautiful girls inside and out” and “world-class.”

They are beautiful girls inside and out, and they’re human. They make mistakes, they laugh, they cry, they sing, they enjoy, they want to entertain, they want to make people happy. And I’m glad that these are the kind of people that they are.

Mentally, they really want to make sure that the concert on Friday is what it is supposed to be, which is world-class. World class na ang BINI. ‘Yung mga tipong kahit anong mangyari, it’s going to work ‘coz they are prepared for it. That’s the point, that’s where they want to get.

The heartfelt talk with Gary V really hit them hard. BINI member Jhoanna Robles even said he was the only one who could make them all cry at the same time!

Earlier, BINI also received advice from “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez. “Kumain kayo ng rice three or four hours before the concert, and then just enjoy it. When you’re doing a concert, hindi mo mahe-help ang sarili mo. You will really enjoy it because your audience will just give you love,” Regine Velasquez told BINI. “Biruin mo, ikaw ang purpose mo lang is to entertain, but your audience will just … Kung ano yung energy na you’re putting out, ibabalik nila yun sayo, ten-fold.”

Regine Velasquez also commended the “Nation’s Girl Group” for bringing recognition to Pinoy pop music on the global stage.”Natutuwa ako kasi, they’re giving life to OPM. Kumbaga, hindi lang sa sarili nila, sa career nila. They’re actually bringing life to our music. Tapos, ipinapakilala nila pa sa buong mundo ‘yung music natin,” she told ABS-CBN News.

On behalf of the trending Pinoy girl group, BINI member Gwen Apuli thanked the Filipino music legends. “Grateful po kami kina Miss Regine [Velasquez] and Kuya Gary [Valenciano]. Siyempre sobrang tagal na rin nila sa industriya [kaya] super helpful po sa amin yung mga advices nila, and hindi po kami makapaniwala na nakakausap po namin sila ngayon nang ganung level ng pep talk. Sobrang thank you,” she expressed.

Meanwhile, BINI member Maloi Ricalde teased, “We’re just getting ready. Pinapolish na namin yung mga performances namin, so watch out!”

The three-day BINIverse concert will start on June 28 and run until June 30 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
