Catriona Gray shared her “new beginning with Jesus,” getting rebaptized as a Christian.
In a public declaration of faith, the Miss Universe 2018 posted candid snaps of her adult baptismal ceremony with Favor Church on social media. “A new beginning with Jesus 🙏 Glory to God always,” she captioned.
“So fulfilled to take the step of publicly declaring my faith today,” Catriona Gray added.
In her post, Catriona Gray clarified that she had already been “baptized as a baby.” However, she “wanted to take this action as an adult.”
Catriona Gray also expressed gratitude to God and the church. “So thankful to the community and family that @favor.mnl is. Thank you, God, for never ceasing in the pursuit of my heart,” she said.

The beauty queen concluded the post with a bible verse, “Romans 6:4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.”
