On June 16, 2024, at around 9:30 in the evening, operatives of this station led by PMSg Ramoncito Ty together with twelve (12) others under the direct supervision of PLTCOL RICHARD E MEPANIA, Station Commander conducted surveillance and possible police operation in relation to One Time Big Time (OTBT) operation which ultimately resulted in the arrest of the accused, JUNRY ABAYON y PADILLA AKA “BURNOK” 34 years old native of Misamis Occidental, and presently residing Pingkian 2 Brgy Pasong Tamo Quezon City. Subject is listed as the Top 3 Station-Level Most Wanted Person.
Initial report shows that the accused was positively identified and pinpointed by both victim and the witness who were present during the operation alongside intel/follow-up operatives. At about 9:30 PM on June 16, 2024, PS-15 executed and served the warrant of arrest against him and effected his arrest. He is one of the Station’s Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) for Frustrated Murder case, docketed under Criminal Case No. R-QZN-18-00940-CR, with a bail recommendation of Php200,000. The warrant for his arrest was issued and signed by the Honorable Presiding Judge EDGAR DALMACIO SANTOS of RTC Branch 222, Quezon City.
The said warrant of arrest was returned to the court of origin while the accused is presently detained at Police Station 15 pending issuance of commitment order.
