People Are Supporting Marlon Wayans’ LGBTQ+ Photoshoot

In November 2023, Marlon talked about being a father to his trans son, Kai, while appearing on The Breakfast Club. While he admitted the early stages of Kai’s transition were “very painful.” he said, “As a parent, I just want my kids to be free. I want them to be free in spirit, free in thought, free to be themselves … The more you live your truth, the happier your existence.” 

Last month, Marlon spoke to People about his growth as an ally and parent of an LGBTQ+ child. “It took me all of a week, and in that week, I grew the most that I ever did in my life. You understand the purpose of kids and the beauty of unconditional love. At the end of the day, in my heart, only thing that matters to me is that my child is happy.”
