Netizens are encouraged to be more wary of what they believe and do online, especially with the rampant spread of scammers and impersonators on social media.
In a recent social media post, actor and celebrity chef Marvin Agustin reminded his fans and followers to be careful in engaging with social media pages and posts pretending to be him.
According to him, there have been fake social media pages and people pretending to be his representatives to sell a variety of products.
“These impersonators are using my name, photos, and videos, as well as manipulating my voice using AI,” he says in his post.
Marvin Agustin goes on to remind people of his official accounts:

He also calls on his followers to help report any suspicious accounts found on social media.
