Corrupt Official appointed to highly sensitive government agency

Who is the man who recently secured a permanent civil service position in a highly sensitive government agency? Is the appointing authority not aware of the numerous instances of high-level corruption that this individual initiated and allowed during his previous tenure in the same agency?

Many insiders of this agency are against the permanent appointment of this person because of his previous corrupt practices inside the agency. This person even brazenly told several government officials that his desire was not to serve but, as one lawyer quipped to do “hanap pera.”

Shouldn’t this administration’s appointees undergo rigorous intelligence scrutiny? This agency is crucial for our national security, so individuals applying for decision-making or policy-making positions should be thoroughly investigated.

Does the President know about this? I hope not. Worse, if he did but never took action. Why did his name escape the attention of our Civil Service Commissioner, the highly incorruptible former Cabinet secretary Nograles?

Rumors have it that this individual is very close to a high Cabinet official of the Marcos administration. Many suspect that he’s a fraternity brother of this official or at least close to this high cabinet secretary for some reason.

Do you know what would happen to this agency if this person is allowed to swear his oath as part of the senior management team? The implications are dire. This will encourage more operators inside the agency to process more cases, allowing personalities with criminal records abroad to enter and wreak havoc here in our country safely. Likewise, this person once reportedly lawyered for Korean and Chinese criminal elements, posing a significant threat to our national security.

This person has to be stopped immediately before he does more harm to the agency, which is now struggling to cleanse itself of misfits.

There is still time for Malacañan to rectify this situation and prevent potential scandals from arising from this individual. Sources have informed me that this person has not yet taken the oath of office.

Mr. President, please address this matter. Otherwise, this individual’s claim of being closely connected to Malacañan and obtaining this position may negatively affect your reputation.
