QCPD’s Project 6 Police Station 15 ramps up Anti-illegal Drug operations, nets nearly 2 million worth of Shabu

In three separate buy bust operations, SDEU of Project 6 Police Station 15 led by PCAPT VIRGILIO MENDOZA, under the supervision of PLTCOL RICHARD E MEPANIA, Station Commander, successfully arrested four (4) individuals and seized nearly two million worth of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, commonly known as “Shabu”.

In the latest anti-illegal drug operation on June 09, 2024, the team has arrested Dexter Nene Y Olino, male, a  jeepney driver and high school  undergraduate, native of Pangasinan and currently residing at #112 B Sinagtala, Brgy. Bahay Toro, Quezon City for violation of sec 5 and sec 11, RA No 9165. During the arrest, operatives recovered from his possession and control were MOL 11 grams in several sachets of suspected shabu with an SDP of PHP 74,800.00.

On June 03, 2024, SDEU arrested live-in partners Robin Bernardo Y Reyes and Aubrey Fallorina Y Chavez for Violation of Sec 5 and Section 11. R.A No. 9165 in front of their residence located at July Extension Project 8, Bahay Toro, Quezon City. The team seized from their possession were ten (10) sachets of suspected shabu MOL 38 grams with an SDP of PHP 258 ,400.00.

On the other hand, the biggest haul and significant accomplishment of the team was the buy bust operation on May 17, 2024 resulting in the successful arrest of one Ricardo Dominique Del Mundo y Catacutan, male, 21 years old, a mechanic, high school graduate, native of Bulacan and a resident of House #169 Project 8 Road 20 Brgy. Bahay Toro, Quezon City for violation of sec 5 and sec 11, RA No. 9165. Recovered from the suspect were several sachets and plastic pouches of suspected shabu weighing MOL 240 grams with an SDP of PHP 1,632,000.00

PBGEN REDRICO A MARANAN, DD, QCPD commended the operatives for the sting of successful operations against illegal drugs and encourage the team to continue the drive and contribute to the PNP thrust of finally weeding out and/or preventing the proliferation of illegal drugs in the community in support to the drug clearing program, and put behind bars those involved in the illegal drug trade.
