Asian Academy of Creative Arts to Host Exclusive Round Table and Networking Event in Manila

The Asian Academy of Creative Arts is delighted to  announce its Round Table and Networking Event for 2024 which is set to take place  at the prestigious Marco Polo Ortigas Hotel in Manila (June 6).

This by-invitation-only event will feature distinguished speakers, including Emmy  Award-winning producer and director, and Asian Academy President, Michael McKay.  Joining him will be Ruel Bayani, Head of ABS-CBN International Productions, who also  serves as the Asian Academy Creative’s Ambassador for the Philippines. Garlic Garcia,  Viu Philippines Head of Content. Jose Javier Reyes, Chairperson & CEO of Film  Development Council of the Philippines. And Roselle Monteverde, Founder & Producer  of Regal Entertaiment. 

Asian Academy Creative Arts CEO and respected media lawyer Fiona McKay will be  making a number of key announcements. Invited guest speaker, Bernard Tan from  global insurance heavyweight, AJ Gallagher will be flying in to take attendees  through the production slip ups that can cost them millions of dollars.

Elite Members will be in attendance including former Cignal TV Newshost and Asian  Academy Creative Awards grand winner anchor/presenter Cathy Yang. Los Angeles  based international distributor and Elite Member Rosemond Perdue will be flying in  especially for the event.

In addition to insightful discussions and networking opportunities, the event will  honour the Philippines’ past ten winners of the Asian Academy Creative Awards. This  includes the acclaimed Best Actress in a Leading Role, Jodi Sta. Maria, for her  performance in “The Broken Marriage Vow,” and the 2020 Best Actor in a Leading  Role, Arjo Atayde, for “Bagman.” Dimples Romana, a two-time National Winner  representing Philippines for Best supporting actress in 2019 and 2022.

The event will set take place on June 6, 2024, at 2:30 PM at the five star Marco Polo  Ortigas Hotel in Manila.
