The arrest of 6 citizens and a Palestinian in Bednayel and Kasarnaba – Bekaa and Sidon for opening fire

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 29/05/2024, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of wanted individuals in Bednayel and Kasarnaba – Bekaa, and arrested 6 citizens (M.M.D.), (M.R.D.), (A.D.), (AA.Q.), (M.S.), (AA.D.), for having opened fire on previous dates. Firearms and an amount of ammunition were seized in their possession.

An Army unit also arrested the Palestinian (R.Kh.) in Sidon, as he was wanted for opening fire.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
