Carlos Yulo from the Philippines secured the gold medal in the Men’s Individual All-Around competition at the 11th Senior Men Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The silver medal was earned by Milad Karimi of Kazakhstan, and the bronze medal was claimed by Abdulla Azimov.
Another Filipino athlete, Juancho Miguel Besana, finished in 11th place overall.
In the Men’s Team All-Around event, China took home the gold medal, while Uzbekistan and South Korea received the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
The feat makes Yulo a top contender for a gold medal at men’s gymnastics in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.
