US President Joe Biden has been mocked online after struggling to read the teleprompter during the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony on Friday.

During the presentation of the awards, Biden stumbled over his words and referred to it as the “Presidential Freedom of Medal”.
Video clips of the event shared to X by account @RNC Research highlighted Biden’s slurring and confusion.

Biden appeared to stumble through introducing astrophysicist Dr Jane Rigby, and then called Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh “Michael” before correcting himself.
