HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE POKPOK BIRD? The coppersmith barbet, locally known as the “pokpok”, is a noisy and colorful bird found only in the Philippines. It’s recognized by its rhythmic call resembling a coppersmith’s hammering and its striking green plumage with red streaks on the forehead.
