Collectors Fest Manila is the newest summer collectible convention of the year, happening on April 27 and 28, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center.
Collectors Fest Manila is set to feature guest cosplayers, international and local toy artists, merchandise exhibitors, cosplay, and sing and dance competitions.
Cosplayer-Influencers of the cos community: Charess and Lia Bear, with a follow base of 600,000 and 200,000 respectively.
Secured with dedicated booths, these local and international toy artists will be showcasing their art and creativity, and have sponsored for Collectors Fest Manila’s exclusive VIP ticket art toys and shirt design.
Creon Chkn is a Manila-based toy artist, illustrator, and designer globally renowned for his chicken head characters.
Aki is a Philippine-based toy artist, art director, 3D animator, and 3D sculptor.
Wetworks, an artist and toy designer recognized for his bold stylized sculptures and adorable kawaii characters, is the mastermind behind Foxy and Xin — two playful characters inspired by his cherished sheltie. His creative philosophy centers on a commitment to continual growth through experimentation and genuine collaboration with fellow artists and designers.
Vincent Ow, aka “VYNC”, a Singapore-based toy artist renowned for his distinctive painting style known as “Raging”. VYNC’s goal is to elicit human emotions and interactions with lifeless objects. His creations, such as Vee5, are situated in a futuristic realm where cybernetics and robotics are seamlessly integrated into daily human existence.
Winnie Yip, a graduate of Fine Arts and Painting from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore, is also from Singapore. She works as a visual artist and toy designer under the moniker WINNIEYIPPIE. Her works delve into themes of self-identity, vulnerability, relationships, and emotions.
Paskalis Kunang, aka Mr Kumkum, is an artist hailing from Bandung, Indonesia with a degree in Design and Arts. He has been commissioned for various mediums such as canvas and shoes, and currently specializes in crafting platform toys. Collaborating with fellow artists, international corporations, and renowned brands, Kumkum’s distinctive style, characterized by its use of black and gold motifs adorned with dots and lines, has gained widespread recognition.
Over a hundred booths and almost four dozen tables – divided into anime, toys, comics, Asian (Korean, Japanese) pop culture, comics, and art toys – are dedicated for the lifestyle and hobby shopping of the collector community.
