The leaders of the United States, Japan, and the Philippines said on Thursday (US time) that they will “strongly” oppose China’s attempts to change the status quo in the Indo-Pacific region by force or coercion. Former President Rodrigo Duterte said he only recalled agreeing with China to keep the status quo in the West Philippine Sea, where neither Manila nor Beijing would make a move that would disrupt the peace in those waters. Philippine Educational Theater Association’s announcement in October 2023 that it would be turning the iconic 2007 movie One More Chance into a musical featuring the songs of today’s foremost band, Ben&Ben, created so much buzz that tickets sold out fast and show dates were added.
