Anti-Israel Protesters blocked the Senate Cafeteria at lunchtime demanding a ceasefire in Gaza. The protesters demanded the Congress to stop “selling weapons to Israel” and “restore funding to the UN Relief & Works Agency (UNRWA). The protesters held signs that said,”woe to you who slay the hungry.” The protests were organised by two activist groups – ‘Code Pink’ & ‘Christians For Free Palestine.’ Several protesters hit the streets of Washington in favour of Palestinian people.
