PCG records 139k passengers in ports on Maundy Thursday

The Philippine Coast Guard has monitored over 139,000 passengers passing through various Philippine ports on Maundy Thursday.

In a statement, the PCG said there had been 73,282 outbound passengers and 66,331 inbound passengers, for a total of 139,613 passengers passing through the ports from 6 a.m. to 12 noon.

The PCG also said a total of 1,644 motorbancas and 449 other vessels were inspected at different terminals.

A total of 3,608 Coast Guard personnel, meanwhile, have been deployed to over fifteen different Philippine Coast Guard districts.
