A new UN-backed food security assessment warns that half of the Palestinians in Gaza are now experiencing catastrophic hunger – and that famine could hit the north soon, if aid deliveries are not immediately increased. There’s been growing unease among Israel’s allies about the human cost of its war against Hamas, which began after the radical Islamist group’s terror attack on October 7th.
