Ms. Jacqueline Ross Jocson, a senior high school student from Southville International School and Colleges, will be awarded by GAWAD PILIPINO as “Natatanging Pilipina sa Larangan ng Edukasyon” in celebration of International Women’s Month.
Ms. Jacqueline was awarded the Global Goals Youth Ambassador position in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, early this year. This year’s awardees include Vice-President Sara Duterte, Senators Grace Poe, Imee Marcos, and Cynthia Villar.
Ms. Jocson is the daughter of Dr. Joseph Ross Jocson, Commissioner of the National Solid Waste Management Commission under the Office of the President, and Mrs. Rowena C Jocson, Director, DSV Air & Sea.
The awarding ceremony will be on March 22, 2024, at the AFP Commissioned Officers Club at Camp Aguinaldo.
