Set in a 1920s English seaside town, WICKED LITTLE LETTERS is a mystery comedy based on a true story. Conservative Edith Swan (Olivia Colman) and Irish migrant Rose Gooding (Jessie Buckley) are neighbors caught in a scandal when anonymous, profane letters circulate, leading to Rose’s arrest. The incident sparks national outrage and a trial. However, the town’s women, led by Police Officer Gladys Moss (Anjana Vasan), suspect that Rose may not be the culprit and begin their own investigation.
