The camp of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) sect leader and an accused sex offender, Apollo Quiboloy, already accepted the Senate subpoena on Thursday.

The office of Senator Risa Hontiveros reported on Friday that KJC legal counsel Marie Dinah Tolentino Fuentes had received the subpoena for the embattled televangelist.

“If I were the Senate, I would invite VP Sara to answer [the allegation]. This is a huge allegation. She should face the Senate and address the matter instead of beating around the bush,” ACT Teachers Rep. France Castro said during a press conference at the House of Representatives.
