Palestinian group Hamas is exasperated after the U.S. blocked a United Nations ceasefire resolution. With no truce in sight, Hamas has launched a fresh attack on Israeli forces. Hamas claimed that the Israeli Army suffered losses in both north and south Gaza. According to reports, at least 46 Israeli soldiers were injured in the last 24 hours. Israeli forces have also announced the deaths of one soldier and serious injuries to three others during the fight with Hamas.
