Donny Pangilinan Takes on the Role Esports Gamer Film ‘GG’

In the movie ‘GG,’ Donny Pangilinan steps outside his comfort zone to portray Seth, an introverted gamer facing personal challenges while playing for a rookie esports team.

Directed by Prime Cruz, “GG” or “Good Game” is a production of Mediaworks, Cignal Entertainment, and Create Cinema. ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema handles distribution. The film prominently features Acer and Predator gaming products as the official PC partner.

“GG” stands as the Philippines’ inaugural full-length movie delving into the realm of professional esports. Donny, an Acer Philippines brand ambassador, expressed newfound respect for professional gamers, acknowledging the substantial effort they invest in their craft.
