Yemen’s Houthi rebel group dismisses the impact of US and British airstrikes, stating that the attacks “will not deter us.” Following the retaliation for the Iran-backed group’s recurrent Red Sea attacks, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree reveals that the capital Sanaa and other rebel-held areas were among the targeted locations. Saree reports a total of 48 airstrikes and emphasizes on X platform that these attacks won’t change their steadfast support for the Palestinian people in Gaza. Warning of forthcoming retaliation, Saree asserts that the recent strikes “will not pass without response and punishment.”
