Two citizens arrested in the town of Bebnin – Akkar for committing crimes including shooting and theft

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 14/1/2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the residences of wanted individuals in the town of Bebnin – Akkar and arrested the citizens (M.Q.) and (H.S.), for opening fire in the town of El Abdeh at dawn at a vehicle driven by the two Syrians (B. N.) and (B.B.), which led to the first being injured in his foot and later transferred to a hospital for treatment. In addition, they stole sums of money, a quantity of gold, and some personal papers belonging to the two Syrians.

The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
