Ruru Madrid opened up in his latest Instagram post about needing to rest after he was rushed to the emergency room after taping due to persistent illness and exhaustion.
In his post, the actor shared two pictures—one of himself lying on the hospital bed while on an IV drip and another of his girlfriend Bianca Umali watching over him—as he explained his situation.
“Last night, kinailangan kong dumiretso sa E.R from taping… dahil ilang araw na akong may trangkaso, masakit ang lalamunan at hirap magsalita. Sinabihan ng Doctor na kailangan daw ng maayos na pahinga para sa mabilis na recovery. Meaning, pause muna sa trabaho,” he began.
“Nakakalungkot na sa araw na ito, mayroon po sana akong trabaho… pero hindi po ako pinayagan ng Doctors gawa ng baka lalo daw po lumala ang nararamdaman ko at mas marami pang commitments ang hindi mapuntahan. I feel bad na kailangan po umabot sa ganitong sitwasyon at naapektuhan ang trabaho. Kanina when I checked my phone nakita ko ang isang post sa commitment ko today ng mga taong nag eexpect po na makita po ako… at parang dinudurog ang puso ko na hindi ako makakapunta. Gusto ko po humingi ng paumanhin… gusto ng isip at puso ko na makapagpasaya at mapunan ang trabahong naipangako, pero hindi na po kinakaya ng katawan. Kailangan pakinggan at unawain ang kalusugan.”
He then assured fans and coworkers that he will do his best to get better soon so he could return to work.
“Babawi po ako sa inyo, Pangako po yan! Godbless po at magpapagaling ako agad!” he said.
He then took a moment to express his heartfelt gratitude to his girlfriend for taking care of him throughout the whole ordeal at the emergency room, from bringing him food to staying by his side.
“May isang tao nga pala ang nagparamdam ng sobrang pagmamahal sa akin, hindi ko alam kung nag cchills ako dahil ba sa sakit o sa Kilig. Pero salamat sa taong sumalubong sa akin sa E.R, nagasikaso ng mga papers, nagdala ng pagkain, nagpuyat at nagalaga sa akin. Mahal na mahal kita kita Isadora, salamat sa napakasarap na pagmamahal na hinding hindi ko pagpapalit kailanman,” he shared.
