Andrea Brillantes’ Opinion on Love Teams: “It’s Not for Me”

Andrea Brillantes (Blythe) would rather establish herself as a solo actress rather than be in a love team. This, according to her, would give her more opportunity to explore her career in showbiz.

Blythe expressed her opinion on the matter during a press conference for the drama series “Senior High,” where the actress stars alongside Kyle Echarri, Juan Karlos (JK) Labajo, Labajo, Xyriel Manabat, Elijah Canlas, Daniela Stranner, Gela Atayde, Angel Aquino, Zaijian Jaranilla, and Baron Geisler.

“Mas nakikilala ko ang sarili ko bilang isang actress at mas madami akong pwedeng paglaruan at makatrabaho na bago… Kaya mas magandang mag-explore,” Blythe said.

Apparently, she has already been paired with different actors since she was only 10 years old. “Nagkaroon na ako ng mga konting partners sa ‘Annaliza.’ I was 10. Si JK naging kapartner ko na rin before,” she recalled. With everything she’s been through, she is now grabbing the opportunity to establish herself as a solo artist.

“Ang dami ko nang napagdaanan sa shows na lagi akong may kapartner. Noong nagkaroon ako ng opportunity na pwede na akong maging solo artist, gusto ko na siyang i-explore. Ngayon, super ko na siyang nae-enjoy,” Blythe claimed.

“Support ako sa love teams,” she clarified before admitting, “pero na-realize ko na I think it’s not for me to be paired up with someone.”

“Personally, mas nakakakita ako ng personal growth kapag mag-isa ako. Pero support ako sa mga love teams. I have nothing against them. This is just my personal opinion,” Blythe explained.

Andrea Brillantes also expressed that she’s open to working on a GL (girls’ love) project with Xyriel Manabat but she respects the latter’s non-showbiz boyfriend.
