Palestinians called for a “day of rage” across the occupied West Bank on Wednesday in response to the assassination of a senior Hamas leader in Beirut.
Palestinian factions, including Fatah, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, called on individuals to gather in all city centres in the territory at midday (10.00 am GMT) for “a general strike” and protests.
