The Israeli military confirmed that it was pulling thousands of troops out of the Gaza strip. This comes as the Israel’s Supreme Court struck down a key component of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s contentious judicial plan. During the briefing Levy addressed South Africa’s claim of being in violation under the Genocide convention, by saying ‘Hamas death squad murdered Israelis on October 7th.’
