Hamas said one of its senior leaders was killed in Lebanon on Tuesday in an apparent Israeli airstrike. Israel did not confirm the strike, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in November that his country would “operate against Hamas leaders wherever they are.” Adam Boehler, a former senior Trump administration official who worked as a key negotiator on the Abraham Accords, says #OnTheHill that the strike may signal a “second phase” of the war.
