Sara Duterte Promises To Continue ‘Serbisyong Tapat’ In New Year Message

Sara Duterte gave this message to all Filipinos for the New Year celebration

Vice President Sara Duterte promised to continue her “serbisyong tapat” to the Filipino people as she stated in her New Year message.

On December 31, through a post on her official Facebook Page, the Vice President gave her message to all Filipinos, in line with the welcoming of 2024. She encouraged everyone to face the new year with positivity and a progressive perspective in life for a brighter future.

VP Sara acknowledges that the year 2023 is a colorful one not just for Filipinos but for all the people around the world. She cited that there are a lot of stories of triumph, struggles, and hope.

“Kaya naman ang ating pananaw sa kinabukasan ay mananatiling malinaw: na patuloy tayong maghahatid ng serbisyong tapat,” Vice President Sara Duterte promised.

She also said that she would intensify her desire to promote peace and prosperity for every Filipino and that the nation will continue to be resilient amid whatever trials may come.

Happy New Year po, mga kababayan. Hangad ko na sa pagsapit ng Bagong Taon, ang bawat isa sa atin ay magkakaroon ng panibagong pag-asa, lakas, at matibay na determinasyon na magsumikap at magkaisa para sa ikabubuti ng bawat Pilipino,” the Vice President said.

She added that together with her family, she will pray for every Filipino to have a peaceful, safe, and happy celebration of the new year. The Vice President ended her message with the Arabic word “Shukran” which means “thank you.”

VP Sara Duterte’s 2023 is also colorful. She continued to have high trust ratings but controversies came her way, especially about the confidential funds. She received criticism for how she handled the hundreds of millions allocated for the Office of the Vice President (OVP).

The issue became more controversial when her father former President Rodrigo Duterte defended her and attacked her critics. She eventually gave up her confidential funds.
