Rom-Com Star Park Min Young Takes Lead in Revenge Drama ‘Marry My Husband’

Park Min Young returns with Marry My Husband, which will premiere on Prime Video in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and territories on January 1

Prime Video made a big announcement today: the K-drama series “Marry My Husband,” a collaboration between tvN and Amazon Original produced by Studio Dragon, a subsidiary of CJ ENM, will soon be available on Prime Video in the Philippines and across more than 240 countries and territories worldwide (excluding South Korea and China). Starting on Monday, January 1, viewers can catch episodes weekly every Monday and Tuesday.

Based on a web novel, “Marry My Husband” unravels the revenge tale of a terminally ill woman who witnesses her husband and best friend engaging in an affair. The esteemed rom-com figure Park Min Young, known for her recent charm in “Love in Contract” (also available on Prime Video in SEA only), embodies the betrayed protagonist Kang Ji-won. After discovering the illicit affair between her best friend Jung Su-min (Song Ha Yoon) and husband Park Min-hwan (Lee Yi Kyung), Ji-won faces a tragic fate at Min-hwan’s hands. However, a twist throws her back a decade into the past, giving her a chance to reshape her destiny alongside her colleague Yoo Ji-hyuk (Na Inwoo).

Ji-won, an ordinary woman, endures daily hardships in her domestic and professional life. Despite selflessly caring for her inept husband and facing the criticism of her in-laws, her kindness is taken for granted. Her husband, her sole family, and her trusted friend reveal their unfaithfulness, adding to her burden of battling cancer.
