Israel spent ceasefire preparing for ‘absolute victory’, says Netanyahu | Israel-Hamas war

Israel’s prime minister has pledged to continue the fight against Hamas “until the end”.

“Until we achieve victory, the war continues,” he told a news conference.

“The day before yesterday, I instructed the IDF, along with the war cabinet, to resume the war with increasing intensity over the past 24 hours.

“We are going to continue with the war until we achieve all of its objectives. And you cannot achieve these objectives without continuing the ground manoeuvre.”
