Hungary, a NATO nation often dubbed “pro-Russia,” has lambasted Ukraine. Hungary’s Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto, has criticised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for accusing Budapest of not adhering to NATO obligations. Szijjarto said Zelensky does not have the right to determine whether Hungary’s actions align with its NATO membership. The sharp response came after Zelensky’s NATO obligations lecture in Budapest.
