Video released by the Speaker’s office on Monday morning, Jan. 16 showed the President’s plane being escorted by Philippine Air Force (PAF) fighter jets. House Speaker Martin Romualdez is part of Marcos’s official delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF), which features both the business elite and key heads of state.
“This is part of essential standard operating procedure to ensure the safety and security of presidential flights,” the Speaker’s office said.
