The Heroes’ Grand Homecoming Parade for two-time 2024 Paris Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, bronze medalists Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas and all other Filipino Olympians had been set to August 14 (Wednesday), at 3 p.m.
The parade will start at the Aliw Theater up to the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex from where it will take the following route: V. Sotto (Aliw Theater), left to Roxas Blvd., right. P. Burgos Avenue, straight didiretso Finance Road, right Taft Ave., right Pres. Quirino Ave., left Adriatico St., right Mendiola St., left Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
The MMDA will implement a stop-and-go scheme at the intersections of the parade route.
Motorists are advised to use the alternative routes to avoid traffic.
These are as follows: Northbound to R10; Skyway; Buendia Ave.; Taft Avenue; F.B. Harrison Street; A. Mabini Street; Pres. Quirino and Lacson Ave.
Southbound -Roxas Blvd.; U.N. Avenue; San Marcelino and Quirino Ave. to SLEX.
