Grab Philippines, in collaboration with New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) and OneAyala, is extending free shuttle services to travelers arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 2 and 3—two of the airport’s busiest hubs during the holiday season.
The Grab Be Present Bus initiative provides a seamless point-to-point transportation option for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and domestic travelers, connecting NAIA Terminals 2 and 3 directly to the OneAyala Transport Hub, a central location with access to various transit options.
This initiative addresses growing demand for reliable transportation during the holidays. Ride-hailing platforms in the Philippines face heightened pressure due to traffic congestion and supply-demand imbalances. Historical data from Grab Philippines reveals that ride bookings typically spike by up to 45% during the second and third weeks of December, often straining the capacity of Transport Network Vehicle Services (TNVS) drivers to accommodate passengers.
By bridging the gap between airport terminals and a major transport hub, the Grab Be Present Bus eases these challenges, helping more Filipinos reach their destinations with convenience and efficiency.
The free shuttle service will operate from December 12 to 14 and December 19 to 21, 2024, running daily from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Passengers can approach Grab marshalls stationed at the airport arrival halls to guide them to the designated pick-up points at Terminal 3 (Bay 4) and Terminal 2 (Bay 5).
To board the bus, passengers need to register and present their Grab app to the marshalls. With this service, Grab Philippines reinforces its commitment to making holiday travel more convenient for Filipinos, especially during this busy season.
