THE National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) has recently inaugurated the first Senior Citizens Community Care Center (SCCCC) in Mindanao, bringing the total number of community centers for senior citizens in the Philippines to three.
The care center, located in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, will serve as a dedicated space for comprehensive care for senior citizens, upholding their dignity and independence.
The facility will provide holistic services, which includes health and wellness programs, social support, livelihood assistance, and other essential resources tailored to meet the needs of elderly citizens.
